Kidscommons is a community children’s museum located in Columbus, Indiana. The museum is open from 10am to 5pm Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1pm to 5pm on Sundays. How funny was it the other day when I saw this sweet little old man washing his motorcycle out in his yard. I was thinking how awesome it is that he still has all that spirit left in him. Lots of people you see these days, once they retire or hit a certain age people sort of slow down. Not this old man, he looked like a hardcore biker if you ask me.
So I had forgotten all about him and was just living life. Then about two weeks later, I saw him and his wife out in the yard. They were washing the bike together. How sweet and romantic that these two do it together. I never see them on the road though, do they ride it? Surely, she isn’t getting on the back of the bike?!?
Another week passes and I SEE THEM. They are on the highway and HOW CUTE were there?!? She is in the side cart. They both have their helmets on and are just enjoying life! How nice it was to see this. Who would have thought though? Crazy! They even had their leathers on! HA! Don’t get me wrong when I tell you there was a side cart, his bike was AWESOME!
To see this sight was eye opening to me. It is weird in life how little things affect you. This had a lasting affect on me to see how much in love and the love for life all of us should have. They were enjoying it in every way they knew how and didn’t care about anything around them except for where they were heading.
